2014

Cook Like a Caribbean was a series of community workshops celebrating Caribbean culture, food and its origins. Local Brixton residents with links to the Caribbean community shared their favourite and symbolic recipes, and cooked together.

Food is a fantastic starting point to facilitate conversations about cultural heritage, map migration patterns, surface personal memories, and create a collective learning experience. My contribution focused on co-producing a visual mapping the origins of ingredients and recipes and global influences born from the history of the region, as well as producing a set of recipe cards.
